The New Hantaran Cake

One of the cakes I displayed at the wedding expo.

This cake is a 6 inch diameter and 4 inch high.

Quite small.

Totally recommended as a hantaran cake.

It is easier for anyone to carry around as sometimes the dulang hantaran itself is already heavy.

Someone asked me where did I get the idea to make this 'You & Me' cookies.

Didn't answer but in my head I was singing the song 'You and Me' by Lifehouse.

My First Expo

As I mentioned in my last post, I opened a booth at a wedding expo at The Mall.

It was a good experience. An exposure for me since it was my first time.

Only had a little problem with the organizer. But closing my eyes to that one at the moment.

Met wonderful people. Made new friends. It was really fun. But tiring of course.

Didn't take much pictures. Regret.

For 2 days I was there, the most common thing I heard was "Comel nyaaaa". Oh god blushing. Hikhik.

Of course they didn't mean me. They meant my cakes, cookies.

Enough blabbering. Here are some pictures of the events.

Wedding Expo

Dear beautiful people,

I am very excited. Why you ask ? Because I'll be opening a booth at a wedding expo !!! It's my first time. Super nervous but excited at the same time.

Venue : Sunway Putra Mall (The Mall), near PWTC Date : 27th April to 29th April 2012
Time : 10 am to 10 pm (free admission) 

Do come and join the fun fun fun. Bring your awesome people, friends and family. The more the merrier.

A Gift Cake

A lovely cake from a very lovely lady for her lovely Mama.

Si cantik Aida ordered me this cake for her mother's birthday.

She asked for a rainbow cake and purple color as it's her mother's favorite color.

So sweet isn't she ?

In the picture she gave as an example of what she wanted was this fondant ribbon roses.

I told her I couldn't do this kind of roses (or any roses for that matter).

She was really sweet, didn't mind about what type of flowers I would do.

But somehow I tried to do these and tadaaaa........ribbon roses = success.

Hee.
