Cute Owl

Lately I'm just obsessed in doing owl designs. On cake, cookies and cupcakes. And I love the fact that owl design can be decorated using sooo many shapes. Can you guess what shape I used in the picture above? Yes, it's hello kitty shape. Will do on a heart shape cookie cutter one day......if only that day is soon.
By the way, it's October already ?
Why do I feel like we just entered the year 2013.
Time moves so fast when you're busy, right ?

Theme : Skateboard
Cake flavour : Vanilla with peanut butter chips
Colours : Purple, Blue, Red with razzle dazzle and glitters.
Cake size : 7 x 9 inch
Cookies : no. 11 with edible glitter stars.
Ordered by : Aunty Juliana for her daughter's birthday.
The birthday cake

Made skateboard park designs all around.

Sarah turns 11.
I suggested to put two of the no. 1 cookie in one plastic cookie wrapper
since the no. 1 cutter is quite small.
Who says you can only put one cookie in the individual wrapper.
Aunty Juliana ordered the garden themed cake and the book cake. And one more that I will update soon.
Really sorry for not updating my blog often enough.

Tayo Cake

Theme : Tayo the Little Bus
Cake flavour : Rainbow
Size : 8 inch
Ordered by : Aziati for her son's first birthday

The Tayo bus on top is a mini cake.
Can cut it just like a cake.

Traffic light.

Stop sign.

The doors for different buses.

The balloon and the no. 1 are not edible.
Made from paper craft.
A collaboration with my cousins (coming soon).
Few customers asked me to do cakes on certain cartoon themes and my reaction was, "Apa tu? Jap I google". Hee truly sorry. Not surrounded by babies and little kids yet (except my one month old nephew who doesn't know how to watch cartoons yet). But I just loooove to explore new themes to decorate :)

The details.
I just love this cake design.
Ruffles and edible silver are kind of a modern designs.
To be combined with the classic rustic buttercream, is just gorgeous.
The customer herself mixed and matched the designs from my previous works.
